Our Story

At Krone Excavation, we believe every successful project starts with a solid foundation — and we’ve spent a lifetime perfecting ours. Based in York, Pennsylvania, we specialize in precision-driven earthworks, excavating, site development, prime contracting, and hauling. Our approach combines modern GPS-controlled equipment with decades of field experience to deliver efficient, reliable results on every site.

Founded in 2017 by Brandon Krone, a lifelong excavation professional with deep roots in the industry, we combine old-school methods with modern, technology driven capabilities. He holds degrees in Technology Education and Applied Civil Engineering from Millersville University.

His roots in the industry run deep, from his Grandfather who spent his entire career building machines for Caterpiller, to operating heavy machinery as a teenager, teaching engineering, and leading complex site projects today, Brandon has built Krone Excavation on the values of hard work, accuracy, and follow-through. His hands-on leadership and commitment to quality set the standard for every job we take on.

With Krone Excavation, you’re not just hiring a contractor — you’re partnering with a team that knows the ground, respects the process, and is driven to deliver at every level. That’s what we call Precision Powered by Experience.

"I’ve been around excavation my entire life — there’s no substitute for time in the seat and knowing how the ground moves. But what sets us apart today is how we combine that experience with the latest technology. GPS control, modern equipment, and smart planning lets us work faster, cleaner, and more accurately than ever before. It's not just about moving dirt — it’s about doing it right the first time."

Meet The Team

"You can have all the best equipment and tech in the world, but none of it means anything without a solid crew behind it. The guys out there every day are the backbone of what we do, they bring the skill, pride, and hustle that make each job a success. I’ve built this company around people who care about doing things right, and that shows in every project we take on."
